What is The Poop Deck's "You Pick It, We Cook It" experience?
Our signature “You Pick It, We Cook It” tradition means the day’s freshest catch is presented directly to you before preparation. You select your preferred fish, crab, or conch, and our chefs expertly prepare it to your specifications: grilled, fried, steamed, or blackened, served with authentic Bahamian sides.

Do you serve fresh local seafood?
Absolutely. We specialize in the freshest local Bahamian seafood. Our daily catch is sourced from local fishermen and presented to you through our “You Pick It, We Cook It” approach. Every entrée is served with your choice of traditional Bahamian sides like peas and rice, Bahamian macaroni and cheese, fried plantains, and more.

What Bahamian dishes do you serve?
We celebrate authentic Bahamian culinary traditions with fresh seafood prepared in time-honored ways. Every entrée includes traditional sides like native peas and rice, fried plantains, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and vegetables. Signature dishes include Cracked Conch, Conch Fritters, Bahamian Conch Chowder, and our famous fresh catch prepared with local island spices and citrus.

Poop Deck West, located on Cable Beach just down the road from the fantastic Baha Mar Resort, offers Nassau’s only true beach dining experience with tables literally set in the sand under the stars. This magical setting offers diners incredible seaside views, spectacular sunsets, and the gentle sound of waves, creating an unforgettable Bahamian dining atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in Nassau.
Poop Deck East, overlooking the beautiful Nassau Harbour, offers iconic views of this beautiful and bustling waterway filled with cruise ships, yachts, fishing vessels, and views of gorgeous Paradise Island—home of the famed Atlantis resort.
Both locations feature stunning waterfront views.

Hours & reservations
What are your operating hours?
Poop Deck West is open Tuesday through Sunday. We serve lunch and dinner daily and offer breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. We’re closed on Mondays. Reservations are recommended, especially for our beach dining experience. We encourage booking through OpenTable or calling ahead to confirm availability.
